We're Hiring in Our Machine Shop!

Metal Goods Manufacturing (MGM) is seeking a smart, hard-working CNC machinist to join our team. MGM’s machine shop is a fast-paced environment, where we value a strong work ethic, dependability, and the pursuit of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform product setups
• Perform machining on parts and components using CNC Mills and Lathes
• Perform pre-production quality checks per applicable company drawings
• Conduct periodic quality inspection on parts throughout production run per applicable company drawing
• Make necessary changes to cutting inserts and tools and modifying CNC programs to ensure manufacturing quality
• Maintain digital production records
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Any other duties that management may require, from time-to-time, to ensure a safe and efficient operation

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and drawings
• Ability to follow complex instructions
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, including calipers, micrometers, machinist scales and various go, no-go gauges
• Prior CNC machining experience
• Experience with CAM software is a strong plus

Education:

• High School diploma or GED
• Some technical or vocational training may be required
• Prior on-the-job experience may substitute for the educational requirement

Compensation/Benefits:

• MGM offers competitive compensation
• 4 day work weeks. MGM’s production facility operates 10 hours a day, 4 days per week
• Full benefit package available (health insurance, free primary medical care, retirement plan, vacation, plus one week paid facility shutdown at the end of the year)

MGM is a family-owned, fast-paced manufacturer located in downtown Bartlesville that has been serving flow control and liquid transportation markets since its founding in 1939. From our 34,000 square foot production facility, we ship valves, rail tank car valves/fittings, and LPG sampling equipment to customers throughout the world.
