MGM pipe plugs conform to national industry standards and may be applied to compatible quality thread arrangements of other manufacturers' components.
MGM NPT pipe plugs are available in carbon steel and various stainless steel grades (304 Stainless, 316 Stainless, 416 Stainless, and Nitronic 60)
Custom chain lengths available upon request. Standard chain lengths for 1/2" and above plugs are 6" and 12"
Carbon steel pipe plugs come standard with carbon steel chain; stainless available as an option
Stainless steel pipe plugs come with 304 stainless steel chain

Carbon steel plugs come standard with carbon steel chain. All other plug materials come standard with stainless steel chain.

MGM plugs can be used in a variety of railroad tank car applications. Primary uses include secondary closures for sample line valves, angle valves, ball valves and bottom outlet valves used on tank cars.
