MGM Acquires Hemco Valve Line

Metal Goods Manufacturing is proud to announce the acquisition of Hemco Industries’ line of excess flow check valves. This acquisition offers MGM customers a higher-flowing alternative to MGM’s existing lines of double-flanged check valves. MGM - a manufacturer of excess flow check valves, back pressure check valves, needle valves, sampling equipment, and rail tank car service equipment – was founded in 1939 and has been serving these markets continuously since then. “We think the Hemco check valves are great products. We are going to make them even better by obtaining certified flow rates, pursuing additional product certifications, and offering low-temperature materials – all while reducing list pricing on the valves,” says Buz McAbery, President of MGM.
